The Samuel T. Burns Slavery and Civil War documents (1839-1864; 1folder) is made up of a membership application for the Daughters of the Republic of Texas for Mrs. Daisy Cowart, a descendant of Samuel T.Burns. The documents also include correspondence materials on the San Jacinto Museum of History Association. There are also several clippings from local newspapers.
